TKT Practical course in ITI Armenia

The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) consists of three core modules, each focusing on different aspects of teaching knowledge:

  1. *TKT Module 1: Language and Background to Language Learning and Teaching:

   – This module assesses candidates’ understanding of the principles of language learning and teaching.

   – It covers topics such as (language systems ), language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking), and the role of motivation and affective factors in learning.

  1. *TKT Module 2: Lesson Planning and Use of Resources for Language Teaching:

   – This module evaluates candidates’ ability to plan lessons effectively and select appropriate teaching resources.

   – It includes topics like lesson planning, selecting and adapting materials, and the use of teaching aids and resources.

 

  1. *TKT Module 3: Managing the Teaching and Learning Process:

   – This module focuses on how teachers manage the teaching and learning environment.

 – It covers classroom management, teacher and student roles, and evaluation and assessment.

 

    Each module is a standalone test, and candidates can choose to take one, two, or all three modules,

depending on their preferences and needs. TKT is designed for teachers of English, including

those who are new to the profession or those who want to gain formal recognition for their existing skills.
